Online TESOL Graduate Study for Maryland Educators - Open to Maryland public school teachers, paraeducators, and administrators.
MCPS Pathways Program: MA TESOL with Initial P-12 ESOL Certification - Open to Montgomery County Public School employees seeking initial teaching certification.
UMBC is offering transfer admission to TESOL students affected by the program closure at Concordia University - Portland. The application fee is waived. Eligible students may transfer courses to complete their MA TESOL degree at UMBC on campus or online.
CU Portland Transfer Program: MA TESOL Completion at UMBC - Open to Concordia University - Portland TESOL students affected by its program closure.
Deadlines for Completion of Application:
Fall semester: August 1 for domestic applicants; April 1 for international applicants.
Spring semester: January 1 for domestic applicants; November 1 for international applicants.
Summer session: May 1 for domestic applicants only.
We offer rolling admissions.
Applications are reviewed when they are complete.

Interested applicants who miss the deadlines may take up to 2 courses in the program as non-degree students with permission from the program director. Taking these courses does not ensure entrance into the program, but if a student is accepted, the courses can be applied toward the MA degree.
